Employee Assistance Program

Meridian’s Wellbeing Services recognises that, from time to time, community sector employees, LGBTIQA+ employees, their families, carers and allies may need professional and confidential support with personal or work-related issues that affect their health, well-being or job performance.

We believe that safe, inclusive, confidential and free access to an EAP is essential for LGBTIQA+ employees. We also believe that access to professional EAP services for employees of community sector organisations enables effective community service delivery and a balanced and healthy workplace environment.

Our EAP service aims to provide a specialised, community-focused experience that enhances the emotional, mental and psychological wellbeing of all community sector and LGBTIQA+ employees.

We offer support and perspective to the challenges of personal or work-related issues using an integrated and holistic approach to client wellbeing.

We can see clients face-to-face, by phone or web-based platforms – whatever is the most confidential and safe option for the client.

For Employers

Meridian is committed to supporting the health and wellbeing of the community sector and LGBTIQA+ employees. If Meridian’s organisational values, and specialised EAP service appeals to your organisation, please contact [email protected] for a range of EAP package options.

For Employees

Once your organisation has signed up to Meridian EAP, any employee can access our services. Access to EAP is confidential - your information and concerns are not shared with your employer or anyone else. All bookings and invoicing to your workplace are de-identified and confidential.

Your workplace will have an EAP policy available to all employees.
