Meridian is committed to addressing the needs of older lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and intersex people, acknowledging unique issues, barriers and lack of knowledge within the wider community.
Our services focus on reducing isolation and loneliness, fostering connections, respect and understanding. Meridian offers assistance in navigating My Aged Care and related services. Our Aged Service Navigators (Care Finders) provide assistance, connecting vulnerable individuals with community resources and attention addressing evolving needs.
Meridian Aged Care programs and supports prioritise inclusivity and respect for older LGBTIQA+ people, promoting a supportive an environment for those facing unique challenges, barriers and vulnerabilities.
